Education
Olga graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree (double major in criminology and history). During her Juris Doctor degree, she was on the editorial board of the Melbourne Journal of International Law. In 2018, she completed her Practical Legal Training with The College of Law and was admitted into legal practise.
Practice Area
Olga commenced at Bardo Lawyers in 2016. Olga’s practise primarily comprises of Administrative Law and Migration law. She has experience in complex matters such as challenging visa cancellation notices, requesting ministerial intervention, waivers and responding to character based issues for Citizenship and Migration matters. Her work has involved statutory interpretation and appeal work before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.
In addition to the above, Olga has prepared offshore and onshore protection visa applications. She has also assisted Bardo Lawyers’ corporate clients in their employment of foreign skilled migrants. Olga is a strategic thinker who is committed to excellence and achieving the best outcome for her clients.
Associations and Community Involvement
Outside of the law, Olga has been an active member of the community. She is currently the Vice Chairperson and Secretary of the Australia Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Young Entrepreneurs (ALCCIYE) and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) and Victorian Women Lawyers (VWL). Olga has demonstrated a commitment to the protection of human rights: she has volunteered for organisations such as WestJustice, Amnesty International and the Refugee Council of Australia.
