Rayan graduated from La Trobe University in 2014 with a double degree in Law and Media Studies. Rayan later went on to complete a Master of Laws in Global Business Law. Rayan joined Bardo Lawyers in February 2015 and undertook her Supervised Workplace Traineeship with the firm. Rayan developed a passion for Migration Law and chose to practice primarily in this area of law with a particular interest in refugee and Human Rights law. Rayan has handled a vast number of complex Protection and Refugee cases for applicants from various countries and background such as Pakistan, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nepal, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Syria and many other countries. Rayan also handles the firms Corporate client’s seeking to employ foreign skilled migrants.

Rayan is passionate about social justice and community service. Rayan has been involved in a number of activities to support youths in the community such as the Elevate Program with Price Waterhouse Coopers & Mission Australia, the Great Australian Sizzle & Melbourne Citymission Bridges. Rayan is bilingual being able to speak, read and write Arabic fluently, thereby rendering her capable of assisting clients who do not communicate in English.
