Dr Nathan (Nam) Le was born and grew up in Vietnam. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons, top 15% of the cohort) from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan.
In addition to the afore-mentioned qualifications, he was awarded a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Bach Khoa University, Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and MSc in Materials Science from National University of Singapore in Singapore, respectively. Before becoming a lawyer, Dr Le was a scientist with Australia’s premier research institution, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), doing ground-breaking research on solar-cell thermal management and bio-chemical sensing. Prior to the CSIRO, Dr Le had worked for a technological start-up in Singapore and a leading research institution in Dublin, Ireland. Dr Le is named as an inventor/owner on 3 international innovative patents and 1 trade mark and is also an author on 20 international peer-review scientific papers.
While working at the CSIRO in Melbourne, Dr Le decided to pursue a legal qualification to become a lawyer. Since being admitted, Dr Le had worked for a boutique law firm based in Melbourne specialising in business and investment migration focusing on offshore clients from the Asia Pacific region. Since joining Bardo Zouki Noureddine Lawyers in 2019, Dr Le has used his top-notch legal knowledge and skills in conjunction with his vast experience in scientific research, intellectual property (IP) protection, and commercialisation assisting entrepreneurs, business owners and skilled professionals to migrate to Australia under the business and investment (188, 888 and 132 visas), family, skilled and global talent migration schemes. He has recently developed an interest in assisting clients resolving complex immigration, commercial and litigation matters at the Tribunal and Court levels.
Thanks to his extraordinary legal skills and his excellent business acumen, Dr Le has assisted Bardo Zouki Noureddine Lawyers expanding its Vietnamese clientele significantly and quickly rose to the position of Associate at Bardo Zouki Noureddine Lawyers in late 2019. In August 2022, Dr Le was appointed as a Managing Senior Associate & Director to manage Bardo Zouki Noureddine Lawyers’ third office based in Springvale, Victoria.
Having lived and worked in Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, Ireland and Australia and being a migrant himself, Dr Le is well positioned to understand and assist clients with their immigration and commercial matters. Dr Le speaks Vietnamese and English fluently. In his free time, Dr Le enjoys playing golf and tending for his gardens.
