Omar is a practising migration solicitor specialising in complex migration matters and humanitarian law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the RMIT Graduate School of Business and Law, completed in 2023, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Omar was admitted to legal practice in August 2024. He is also undertaking studies in Arabic language and Middle Eastern studies at the Australian National University.
Omar joined Bardo Le Noureddine Lawyers in January 2023 as a volunteer before progressing to the role of Immigration Paralegal and subsequently being promoted to Immigration Solicitor. He now leads his own team of paralegals and volunteers, working across a wide range of migration matters.
Omar has a strong track record in achieving successful outcomes in complex immigration cases, including citizenship applications, visa cancellations and character matters, tribunal and court appeals, family migration, and, in particular, humanitarian and refugee visa cases. He is a competent Arabic speaker and is known for building strong, professional relationships with his clients, grounded in honesty, sincerity, and trust.
Among his colleagues, Omar is regarded as a diligent, focused, and efficient practitioner, recognised for his attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to guiding clients through often complex and sensitive migration processes.
Prior to joining the firm, Omar worked in management roles across several major commercial organisations, tutored with reputable education providers, and volunteered extensively in social, humanitarian, and political initiatives.
